Short Film Portfolio
Arual Remlap is an experimental ambiguous absurdist short film, which was directed, produced, and video edited by Patrick Corr. Cinematography and sound design was also produced by Patrick Corr.
Arual Remlap follows Charles as he is seen processing ambiguous bad news. Whilst the bad news is ambiguous, the visual storytelling hints that the bad news is within the realms of “loss” in a broad sense. Whether or not this loss is referencing death or not is left ambiguous.
Each scene follows Charles processing the bad news with a different emotion: disbelief, denial, realisation, sadness, anger, apathy, processing, happiness, paranoia, and acceptance. Whilst each scene focuses on a different emotion, there will be a subtle narrative throughline throughout the film relating to the paranoia involved with processing bad news.
Noskcaj Eniam is an experimental ambiguous absurdist short film & sequel to Arual Remlap, which was directed, produced, and video edited by Patrick Corr. Cinematography was produced by Patrick Corr, and sound design co-produced by Patrick Corr & Katinka Hegyi.
Noskcaj Eniam follows Charles whilst he navigates an anxious situation, whilst he is unknowingly being followed and stalked by Dick. Whilst the narrative is to be ambiguous, abstract, and disorientating, and will be told through visual storytelling, there will be broad themes relating to but not limited to, anxiety.
Each scene will cross-cut between Charles and Dick, pertaining to their contrasting activities. This will culminate at the mid-point of the film & be resolved in the third act.
